Access Group, Inc., a non-profit organization, is the nation’s third largest provider of graduate student loans. This financial website wanted to understand how it could better meet the needs of two very different target user groups, graduate students and Financial Aid Administrators. Perceptive Sciences conducted usability tests and competitive evaluations to help Access Group redesign their website, www.accessgroup.org, to reflect the mental models of all its users.
Eastman Kodak Company is the world leader in helping people take, share, print and view images - for memories, for information, and for entertainment. Kodak hired Perceptive Sciences to test its consumer film processing kiosk and picture making kiosks. Among the many findings was that a key technology difference in the two kiosk designs made no discernable difference to the users, potentially saving millions of dollars in manufacturing costs.
Harcourt Assessment Inc. needed a professional partner to conduct independent scientific research regarding customer satisfaction, usability, and efficiency of its Stanford Learning First web application. Perceptive Sciences was selected to lead the research and provide recommendations to Harcourt Assessment Inc.

its target market recognized the key differentiators that distinguishes
Syzmo from competing products. Perceptive Sciences developed a market research
program for Syzmo that emerged from the best practices of traditional market
research methods and cognitive psychology.
